On March 24, 1994 the company was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company is principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of lead acid storage batteries, as well as recycling of nonferrous metal products. Its major products are storage batteries, which are applied in internal combustion locomotives, railway passenger cars, electrical vehicles, load carriers, sightseeing buses and motorcycles, among others. It distributes its products primarily in domestic market.
