The company was created in 1987 as a subsidiary of Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S.A. for the national distribution of its products, and in recent years has achieved a leading position in the Chilean fertilizer market, both commercially and technologically. Soquimich Comercial S.A. is an importer/marketer of vegetable nutrition products (fertilizers), manufactured by the parent company as well as other international suppliers, thus forming the most complete range of products on the domestic market included in the brands Qrop (granules), QropMix (granulated mixtures), Ultrasol (soluble), Special Ultrasol (soluble mixtures) and Speedfol (foliar). The company belongs to the SQM Group, which is involved with the chemical industry and related investments.
