Forestal y Papelera Concepcion S.A. (FPC) is a prominent paper company located in Coronel, Chile. The company began its industrial operations in late 1995, manufacturing newsprint and other printing papers using thermo-mechanical pulp (TMP). These products gained high acceptance in the national and international markets, particularly in Latin America, establishing FPC's position in these markets for over a decade. Due to strategic reasons related to high electricity costs and consumption in the pulp manufacturing process, FPC temporarily halted its production in 2007. In 2008, the company initiated a project to transform its pulp factory and paper machine to produce packaging papers using recycled fiber. Production of these papers began in the first half of 2009. The project has been supported by globally renowned companies in equipment provision, ensuring quality and leveraging their extensive industry experience. FPC has become a national producer of corrugated packaging papers and, in 2013, started the "Modernization and Reform of the Paper Machine" project to diversify raw materials, increase production capacity, and explore the development of new products. FPC, an innovative company with expertise in paper manufacturing, offers its new packaging papers to the market, ensuring wide acceptance among corrugated packaging customers and providing excellent customer service.
