La Araucana CCAF is a Family Allowance Compensation Fund founded in Chile in 1968 by initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago. It is a non-profit private corporation whose purpose is the administration of social security benefits that tend to the development and well-being of dependent and independent workers, pensioners and their respective family groups, protecting them from social and economic contingencies that may affect them. It has a bipartite Directory, made up of representatives of affiliated companies and workers, represented by union leaders of their affiliated companies.
