The Asociación Chilena de Seguridad (ACHS) is a non-profit private corporation located in Providencia, Chile. It has over 2.6 million affiliated workers and more than 73,000 employer entities throughout Chile. ACHS has the lowest average accident rate, making it the most important mutual insurance company in the country. ACHS is one of the organizations responsible for administering the Social Insurance against Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases Law No. 16,744. Its role is to develop risk prevention programs and provide health coverage and compensation for work accidents, commuting accidents, and occupational diseases. ACHS offers various programs to its affiliated employers and workers, aiming to create a preventive culture. These programs include tailored workshops to meet the needs of companies and their employees. ACHS also proposes work plans with risk detection activities, provides training, and delivers concrete measures to prevent accidents and occupational diseases, thus improving worker safety.
