Antarchile S.A. (Chile)

AntarChile SA is part of the Angelini Group of Companies and is the principal holding company of the largest business conglomerates in South America. The company has a portfolio of different companies in various industries such as forestry, fishing, fuel distributors, energy and mining, shipping. In the early 50 Anacleto and Angelini Fabbri Gino launched Eperva Pesquera SA, which marks the beginning of the formation of a large industrial fishing complex. In 1986, through Empresa Pesquera SA Eperva Indo SA and Pesquera take control of company Petroleos de Chile SA, today Copec SA. In 1989 these companies divide the operational and investment management, Inversiones Epemar SA e Inversiones Indomar SA were founded and, through them control of the company Petroleos de Chile SA has been established. Later, in 1994, these companies together with other investment companies from Angelini Group get together and create AntarChile SA. Currently the consolidated reports show that the company has over 60 000 employees.
