Chilean pension fund manager AFP Capital is engaged in investment and collection of contributions of its members, administration of individual capital accounts and delivery of disability and life insurance as well as retirement products to supplement pensions. The company was acquired by Colombian holding Grupo Sura in 2011 as part of the agreement in which it bought units pensions, insurance and investment management of the Dutch ING group in Latin America. AFP Capital was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Santiago, Chile.
