Olympia Capital Corporation Limited (Botswana)

Olympia Capital Corporation is an investment holding company in the building material industry in Southern Africa. The company concentrates in acquiring companies in Southern Africa where it feels it can achieve aneconomic growth. It is an associate company of Olympia Capital Holdings Limited a company listed on the main board of the Nairobi Stock Exchange in Kenya. It current has two subsidiary companies. Kalahari Floor Tiles (pty) Limited (100%), which was acquired in 2002 is a Botswana based manufacturer of PVC floor tiles, uPVC and Aluminum window and door frames and Industrial and Hygienic Chemicals. Kalahari exports over 50% of its output mainly to South Africa, where is maintains five warehouse facilities. The second subsidiary is Plush Products (pty) Limited (74%), which was acquired in late 2006, is a South African based manufacturer of window decorating items, such as curtain track, hooks and blinds and is now venturing into mirrors and shower doors. South Africa is the principle market, however the company is embarking on exports within SADC and to Kenya.
