Eco050 - Concessionaria De Rodovias S.A. is a company located in Uberlandia, Brazil. It is a subsidiary of the EcoRodovias Group and is the new concessionaire of the BR-050 highway. The highway spans 436.6 kilometers and passes through nine municipalities in the states of Goiás and Minas Gerais. The concessioned section of the highway is an important transportation corridor, connecting the Federal District to São Paulo. It starts at the junction with the BR-040 in Cristalina, Goiás, and extends to the border of Minas Gerais and São Paulo in the municipality of Delta, Minas Gerais. The section under concession consists of 218.1 kilometers of dual carriageway in Minas Gerais and 218.5 kilometers of single carriageway in Goiás. Currently, the highway is undergoing intensive maintenance and improvement work. Over 1,200 workers are dedicated to pavement recovery, signage, conservation, and the duplication of the BR-050. In the Goiás section, improvement and capacity expansion works are ongoing. In just over four years, 176 kilometers of lanes from Cristalina to Catalão have been duplicated, providing more comfort and safety for users. Over the 30-year concession period, a total of R$ 3 billion will be invested in the BR-050. Key improvements include the completion of the highway duplication in Goiás, structural pavement recovery in sections of Minas Gerais, and the implementation of new interchanges and safety devices.
