The company Cooperativa Agropecuaria de Jacinto Machado headquartered in Praia Grande/SC, acts in the acquisition of inputs, storage and trading of agricultural products to southern Brazil. Its focus is the production and trading of rice and its derivatives. Since 2003, the Cooperja became a partner in the fertilizer industry Fecoagro (Federacao das Cooperativas Agropecuarias do Estado de Santa Catarina). The project aims to import the raw material (fertilizer), have a own brand, (Fertilizantes Fecoagro).
