Concessionaria De Rodovias Do Oeste De Sp-Via Oeste S.A., located in Barueri, is responsible for managing the Sistema Castello-Raposo, which is the main connection between the Capital and the western region of São Paulo. The system includes the Castello Branco, Raposo Tavares, Sen. José Ermírio de Moraes (Castelinho), and Dr. Celso Charuri highways, covering a total length of 169.25 kilometers. With a daily traffic of over 600,000 vehicles, the system benefits 2.5 million residents from 16 municipalities who use it monthly. The company, CCR ViaOeste, began its operations on March 31, 1998, and was acquired by the CCR Group in 2005. The original concession period, initially set at 20 years by the State of São Paulo, was extended by 57 months, with a new expiration date in March 2025. Since then, CCR has been working on modernizing the infrastructure of the Sistema Castello-Raposo through significant projects like the Cebolão Project, as well as improvements such as the construction of lanes on the Castello Branco highways and the duplication of sections on the Raposo Tavares highway, among others. CCR ViaOeste strives to ensure the safety and comfort of drivers, passengers, and pedestrians while maintaining optimal traffic flow conditions.
