Hidroeléctrica Boliviana S.A. (HB) is a 100% Bolivian and private company founded in 1996. Its main objective is to strengthen the supply of electrical energy in the National Interconnected System (SIN) in Bolivia by harnessing renewable resources. HB achieves this objective through the implementation of the Taquesi River Hydroelectric Complex, which was developed and constructed between 1998 and 2002 and has been in operation since June 19, 2002.
