Toplofikacia Pleven is the steam heating utility operating in Bulgaria's northern town of Pleven. The firm, which owns a pipeline network of more than 160 kilometres, delivers heat to over 35,000 apartments in the town. The district heating company operates five heat stations. In May 2005, Bulgaria's Privatisation Agency sold 100% of the steam-heat utility to locally-registered firm Metroni for EUR 13.6 million.
