Tombow Bulgaria was established in 1992. Tombow is one of the first licensed Bulgarian companies to issue food vouchers, along with other three foreign and two local competitors, who received licenses by the Ministry of Finance in January 2004.
The company was found by the local business group of Tron and two individuals - Manol Kurdalanov and Yordan Stoichkov. In 1995, Tron's shares were transferred to the other two owners.
On October 20, 2003, Tombow increased its share capital from BGN 5,000 to BGN 2.055 million and accepted a new shareholder - Mancho Markov.
As of January 2011 Tombou`s food vouchers were accepted in more than 3,000 sores and restaurants across the country.
