Sensata Technologies Bulgaria, known as Sensor-NITE Industrial until march 2015, was established in 2005 with headquarters in Sofia. The firm offers high temperature sensors.
Sensor-Nite Belgium, which was acquired by Belgian contract electronic manufacturer EPIQ in 2001, set foot on the Bulgarian market in 2002 when the pilot production was relocated from Belgium to EPIQ Bulgaria.
In 2010, Sensata Technologies Bulgaria took over part of the assets and the high temperature sensors manufacturing activity of Epiq Electronic Assembly EOOD, which was renamed into Integrated Micro-Electronics Bulgaria in September 2011. The production facilities of the company are located in the town of Botevgrad.
In mid-2011 Dutch-based Sensata Technologies Holding agreed to buy Belgian high temperature sensors maker Sensor-NITE from Elex Group.
