Bulgarian construction fittings producer Krepezhni Izdelia, which was established in 1925, is based in the country's second-largest city of Plovdiv. The company's product range features various fastening articles – bolts, metal screws, nuts, rivets, studs, wood screws, fastening and railway details.
Bulgaria's industry ministry has slated a majority stake in Krepezhni Izdelia for on the local stock exchange since 1994. In November 1997, the ministry offered 36% of the company for sale on the stock exchange and another 30% of the company was slated for sale in October 1999. A 39% stake was acquired by former privatisation fund Orel Invest Holding. In March 2001, the sell-off fund sold its stake to a local company.
Currently, the revenue of the company comes from own real estates management.
