Electricity System Operator (ESO EAD) is the independent power transmission operator of Bulgaria, managing and operating the country's high voltage electricity network. ESO EAD operates over 15 thousand kilometers of power pipelines and 297 substations, ensuring the safe, reliable, and continuous power supply of the country. They are also involved in digital transformation, development of information systems, and the modernization of planning activities and management of the electricity network. ESO EAD is engaged in projects for the development, modernization, and construction of new facilities, and they are focused on optimizing the operation of the country's power transmission network.
