The Company is mainly engaged in the generation and supply of electricity in Bangladesh.
History:
2006:The Company was incorporated in Bangladesh on October 17, 2006.
2007:The Company has been awarded a contract on June 17, 2007 to set up a 20 MW 10 gas power plant at Bogra to produce electricity and to sell the generated power to Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
2008:The Company was converted into a Public Limited Group on February 26, 2008.
2012:Its shares were listed on Chittagong and Dhakka Stock Exchanges on June 13, 2012.
The Company changed its Year-End from December 2015 to June 2016.
