Bosnia-based Moja banka d.d. began operations in 2006 under the name Validus Bank d.d. Sarajevo with KM 23 million founding share capital. The bank’s share capital amounted to KM 29.9 million at the end of 2010.In January 2007 Validus Bank d.d. Sarajevo changed its name to Vaba banka d.d. Sarajevo and in September the same year it was renamed to Fima Banka d.d. Sarajevo. Fima Banka operated as a subsidiary of Vaba Bank Varazdin, part of Croatian financial orientated Fima Group.
In July 2010, Bosnian ASA Prevent Group acquired a 51% stake in Fima Banka for EUR 7.77 million. In January 2011, the lender was renamed to Moja Banka d.d. Sarajevo.
Moja Banka d.d. offers a wide range of financial services in corporate and retail banking. It is mainly focused on the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) segment. Moja Banka d.d. is carrying out its activities throughout 14 branches nationwide. in 2017 after the merger of Moja Banka and IK Banka d.d., the bank was renamed to ASA BANKA
