Kozaraputevi d.o.o., located in Banja Luka, was established in 1961 as part of the Directorate for Roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2006, Našicecement d.d. from Croatia became the majority owner by purchasing 58.05% of the company's shares. In 2008, Prijedorputevi AD from Prijedor became the majority owner with 87.21% of the company's shares. The company's main activity is the maintenance and protection of local, regional, and national roads, including road reconstruction, maintenance of road facilities, ensuring road visibility, and similar services. The company's headquarters is located at Ulica Tunjice bb, Banja Luka, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of December 31, 2013, the shareholders of the company were "Grupa Fortis" d.o.o. with 71.46% of the shares and "Prijedorputevi" a.d. with 28.54% of the shares. In 2014, "Grupa Fortis" d.o.o. acquired the remaining 28.54% of the shares, becoming the sole owner of the company. In late 2016, the company changed its legal form to a limited liability company in accordance with the Law on Companies.
