ASA BANKA D.D. was established in 1957 under the name Komunalna banka Zenica. It was renamed several times (to Kreditna banka Zenica, Privredna banka Sarajevo and Osnovna banka Zenica) before receiving its present name in March 1990. IKB was transformed into a 100% private shareholding company in 1998. Its owners structure at the end of 2010 consisted of 55% legal entities and 45% individuals, mostly from Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovenia. ASA BANKA D.D. offers mainly retail and corporate banking services. ASA BANKA D.D. operates seven branches across the Muslim-Croat Federation.
