Union Insurance Company PSC is a United Arab Emirates-based public shareholding company established in 1998 as the national company for the Emirate of Ajman to accommodate the needs of the region and to provide the expertise in risk management and financial services. It provides all classes of insurance products and services except life insurance. It is organized into two main business segments, namely, Underwriting of general insurance business, which incorporate all classes of general insurance, including Fire, General Accident, Engineering, Marine Cargo, Group Life, Motor and Medical insurance, and Investments, which incorporates investments in United Arab Emirates and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) marketable equity securities, term deposits with banks, investment properties, trading investments and other securities. The Company operates through its head office in Ajman and branch offices in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Company had been listed in Abu Dhabi Securities Market on the 11th of April, 2004.
